Country in Ashburton

Claire, a horticulturalist herself, approached us to design a front garden to complement her beautifully renovated period home in a leafy street in Ashburton.

Working with Claire’s plant ideas, we designed and constructed the hardscaping elements. This includes the stone pillar and timber fence, the random sandstone path to the front door and the formal border of cut sandstone around the exposed aggregate driveway. Mt Angus sandstone was selected due to its light and neutral tones. We used corten metal steel edging around the garden beds and the river pebble turnout.
